Adult Learn to Skate

The adult curriculum is designed for both beginning and experienced adult skaters who wish to improve their skating skills. Participation in the program will help promote physical fitness and improve balance and coordination while teaching proper skating techniques. This is an exciting program for people who look to skating as an enjoyable part of a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Equipment

  • Skate rental is available from the ice arena for an additional fee of $3 per lesson. If you would like to purchase a pair of skates we suggest Reidell beginner skates. Please make sure that your skates are properly sharpened.
  • Consider wearing a helmet. We suggest an inline or roller blade skating helmet, however a bicycle helmet will do in a pinch.
  • All students must wear gloves.
  • Dress in light layers.
