About the Beaver County Figure Skating Club
Membership with the Beaver County Figure Skating Club offers figure skaters and coaches many opportunities and advantages. Our environment provides inspiration, encouragement and support for skaters of all ages.
The Beaver County Figure Skating Club is a non-profit [501(c) 3] organization sanctioned by US Figure Skating. Our Club Bylaws have been established to secure compliance with federal and state laws governing non-profit organizations, and to align the club operations with standards established by US Figure Skating. The power of the club is vested in its members.
The Club Board of Directors is made up of volunteers elected by the membership to serve and act as Club Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) and as Board Members. They represent the membership in the making of policy, establishing and updating bylaws, and filing the required state and US Figure Skating reports and forms.
Board members also select Delegate(s) to the US Figure Skating Governing Council meeting each spring.
